Rainbow rice has been a huge hit with Year 2. They had a great time trying out different vegetables and adding spices to their food.
Year 1 have had an amazing time learning cutting skills to make their own healthy dips.
Year 1 have been making a tent for teddy to sleep in. We decided the tent had to be strong, stable and waterproof. We have had so much fun learning to build structures with straws and pipe cleaners.
Year 1 have been busy making dips and dippers. They used equipment safely to grate, cut, peel and chop. Next they chose ingredients and spices and gave them a good mix. The children described their dips using sight, smell and taste. Delicious!
Year 1 had an amazing time exploring and investigating existing sliders and levers. They learnt how to make sliders and levers and enjoyed spending time practising their new skills. Everyone decided to design a Christmas card to include either a slider or lever and then everyone had so much fun following their design to make a moving card.
