Information Meetings
Parent and Carer Information Meetings
At the beginning of each school year, the school hosts parent information meetings. In these meetings, the teachers will explain how they teach the children phonics and mathematics in our school. See year group pages for more information.
Parent and Carer Evenings
There are three parents’ evenings in each year, one in each term. The autumn term meeting provides an opportunity for parents and teachers to meet and share information about the children. The spring term meeting is designed for discussing the children’s progress during the first half of the year and the necessary steps for good progress during the second half. During the summer term parents will receive a written report about their child. There will be an opportunity to discuss this at the Parents’ Evening in the summer term. Parents are welcome to come into school at any time throughout the year, by prior appointment with their child’s class teacher to discuss progress or any concerns they may have.
